Acted as Lead Facilitator for three day workshop on Emergency Sanitation to discuss Elevated toilets (kits), De-sludging equipment, and Sludge disposal and treatment facilities, with the aim to bring national and internationally known suppliers and manufacturers, knowledge centres, and humanitarian organizations together to discuss these three sanitation option.

Facilitator and Trainer – Programme, sector and project development and acquisition for Multi- and Bi-lateral funding. – Guest Lecturer and trainer at strategic waste planning, and national waste policy development, institutional, economic and public financing issues in waste policy development and public-private partnerships. – In-house facilitator and trainer responsible for development and design of workshops, trainings, seminars in international multi-lingual, multi-stakeholder and multi-cultural settings, with a strong focus on action learning and participative approaches. – Developing of Training modules (face-to-face, Trainer of Trainer and e-learning), stakeholder assessments, technical, institutional, legal and policy, public financing and economic ISWM topics, public-private partnership.

In the role of Education Coordinator created, evaluated and monitored a new MRF contract for the region which greatly increased the amount of material that could be diverted through recycling programs-doubled the volume of material diverted from the Agency’s landfill; Developed and managed a 34 day, annual Amnesty program to combat illegal dumping, promote neighbourhood beautification and increase diversion of toxic materials from the landfill. Yr. 1: 700 participants, Yr. 3: 2,600 participants.

This project had several cycles with different environmental themes (e.g. energy, climate change, biodiversity) and involved several countries – NGOs Delegations.
