Costa Rica
The project was revision of systematisation document of methodology used in development and implementation of national WEEE strategy in Costa Rica (SDA project ACEPESA/WASTE 2003-2006). The expert conducted revision of National Regulation on integrated management of electronic waste proposed by Ministries of Health and Environment of Costa Rica, including public financing mechanisms for WEEE management system. He designed and facilitated Central America Workshop on electronic waste management (SDA/GTZ); including preparation of report on methodology for participative planning process for developing national WEEE policy and strategy for Central American countries.

RWA/GIZ Preparation of a National Waste Management Strategic Plan for 2017-2022
Egypt
Kozmin supported the Preparation of a National Waste Management Strategic Plan for 2017-2022 and established the planning framework for improving SWM practices across all waste streams in Egypt, in an integrated and sustainable way. Implemented of the National Waste Management Directives, and provided a comprehensive base for investment in the waste sector across the whole country leading to the development of Master plans in each Governorate. A separate component included the development of a national strategic plan and policy framework for hazardous waste

Review of South Australia’s Waste Strategy, 2011-2015

The assignment was to provide policy and economic analysis of South Australia’s Waste Strategy for Zero Waste South Australia (ZWSA), an organization working at the forefront of waste management and resource efficiency globally. The focus was on analysing progress towards achieving targets and actions, assessing achievements to date, economic analysis of selected programs in different sectors, and international benchmarking.
